Auctorly

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 3, 2026

Auctorly is operated by Christian Casini as a small editorial-feedback tool for novelists. This page explains what data we collect, why, and who it's shared with.

What we collect

How we use it

Your data is used solely to provide Auctorly's service: storing your manuscript privately, running it through the analysis pipeline, returning results to you, and letting you iterate. We do not use your manuscript content to train models, market to you, or share with third parties beyond the service providers listed below.

Service providers we share data with

Retention and deletion

We retain your manuscripts and analyses indefinitely while your account is active so you can revisit and iterate on them. You can delete individual manuscripts in the app, or contact us to delete your account and all associated data. Backups may persist for up to 30 days before being purged.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time by emailing the contact below. If you're in the EU/UK or California, you have the rights described in GDPR/CCPA respectively; we'll honor them on request.

Cookies

Auctorly uses session cookies set by Clerk to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Changes

If this policy changes meaningfully, we'll update the date at the top and notify signed-in users via email.
